Key Features
The X-pole is available as a removable and fully portable Pole which is quick and easy to install (the X-sport or X-pert) or as a free standing pole called the X-Stage. All poles are available as 45mm or 50mm poles. In the UK 50mm is the industry standard but in Austrailia the 45mm is more common. Both poles are adjustable, so that they will fit more than one ceiling height and comes in sections that you assemble together. The standard size x-pole fits ceiling heights of between 223.5cm to 274cm and costs £179.99 plus p&p £11.75. If your ceiling is higher than this, x-pole extentions are available at additional cost. NO permanant fixing required – tension mounted
X-Sport
The X-sport is a static pole that can be bought as a 45mm or 50mm diameter pole.

Cheap X-Pole
Beware of second hand X-poles always try to collect the item and have a good look at it before you buy. Old poles may have been subjected to considerable ware & tear and have numerous bumps and scratches. It you see new X-Poles for sale at a very low price then be caustious because there are a number of fake poles available.

X Pole Review
I love my X-pole at home it fab its just perfect for what I need at an fairly affordable price. However I have heard that some of the poles in studios that have had a few problems.
There is a common problem that the joints twist around inside the poles meaning that you have to beat them out with a broom handle, X-pole have been come up with a solution to this and this is to make the joints more robust but with continual erecting and dismantling the poles can lead to ware and tear on the parts. There is a tendancy for locking nut holes to change shape and x-joint screws to become rounded. Those using ceiling mounts may have experienced some other issues. I have one friend whos pole couldn’t be dismantled prior to moving and they have to kick the pole down because the locking nut had got twisted on the thread.
X-pole customer service could be better, I have heard reports that emails are not answered, phone calls are not responded to and it can take a lot of effort to obtain a responce. Maybe the market leader could improve upon its customer service and make processes more efficient. So as long as you don’t have any technical issues, you can buy a standard pole and don’t require help from x-pole you should be fine buying one of these poles.
